Support Local Kids!
Back to school is normally an exciting time for students, teachers, and parents alike. But for some students, this time of year can be quite stressful.
Did you know that there are over 900 children in Muskegon County who are homeless and in desperate need of school supplies and every day items like deodorant, socks, soap and other necessary hygiene items? This hits home with us at The Gear Group. Every kid should have the necessary supplies to meet their basic needs.
Starting this month, we are working with the Muskegon Area Intermediate School District to provide those 900+ students in our community with needed items. Therefore, profits from all Be The Good Love Wins (BTGLW) items – sold at The Gear Group or online – will be donated to this local cause.
To make it fun for you to jump in and help, we have freshened up the look of our BTGLW apparel! We switched up some color options, and added more youth options. So if you have purchased before, you can get a new style and still support another good cause.
We will be running this campaign for the next couple of months, so please spread the word to friends, families, and co-workers. Together we can make a difference! Shop online at www.bethegoodlovewins.com and share your positive thoughts on social media using the #BeTheGoodLoveWins. Let’s inspire others to “Be Good!”
For those who are in the business community, we do have Corporate Sponsorships available. So, you can place a bulk order of BTGLW apparel for your employees and get your logo added to the item. What a great way to engage your employees and give back! Not only will you support a local cause, your employees will showcase your brand. Contact us at info@thegeargroup or 231-739-8863 for more information.
About the BTGLW Campaign:
In October 2017, we launched the “Be The Good Love Wins” campaign to spread positivity and raise funds for the victims of the Las Vegas shooting. Since then, we have transitioned much of our efforts to supporting local organizations who need funds and added exposure. Previously, we have worked with Boys & Girls Club of the Muskegon Lakeshore, Read Muskegon, Kids’ Food Basket, and Helen DeVos Children’s Hospital.
